Been searching for the perfect crochet blanket pattern. There are SO many possibilities, and I am having trouble decided on which design/layout! I have the yarn: green, white, blue, pink, and light brown. (for now, at least it’s enough to get started!) I have included a photo and a URL to the FREE pattern, these are the ones I am trying to pick from. I will have a good month off a of school soon, this is when I want to start it!

  1. Thank you for this post!!!!!!!

  2. love the hexagon ones! and the chevron pattern!

    • I love them all! lol When I bought the yarn I was planning for a chevron blanket…. But im thinking if I can do one with a bunch of smaller squares then just attached them all maybe it would be easier… Im leaning towards the second blanket I posted except with lime green, raspberry pink, coffee brown, and white or blue. Which do you think would be easier?

      • chevron would have less ends to weave in, and you wouldn’t have to assemble it after making all the squares….granny squares are super easy to make as well though (usually….some granny squares can be pretty intricate!) both of the patterns you’re looking at though would be super easy, and you’ll be crocheting your squares or rows in your sleep by the end 🙂
